The 2016 C.T.  Fishing Tournament was held in April in Coromandel; hosted by the Waikato Commerce Club.  Two of our teams were winners with Kevin Ryan, Gordon Price and John Macmillan as the winners and Murray Stephens, Warren Monk and Eddie Bowman placing third.

Golf

  • The Golf Club has a game every month. Transport is available. If you are interested in playing, please put your name on the list on the notice board.

  • The Golf Nationals were held in November 2016 at the Rotorua Golf Course and all the major trophies were won by Rotorua teams. This has not been achieved since when the Golf Nationals were hosted by Tauranga in 2005 and played at the Omanu Course. The Golf section thanks its sponsors, the CT Club and Rotorua Golf Club for their valuable contributions and assistance towards making its Tournament a success.

Pentanque

The Petanque Club has their own Petanque ground here at the Club for members to use.

The C.T. Petanque Nationals were held in Rotorua in November 2016.  Tauranga won the title, with Ken Towersey, Gordon and Valerie Price coming second.  One of our new teams consisting of Kevin Ryan, Russell Jones & Matthew Jones were also in the Top 8 at No. 6, so well done to them.
